About

I am the person who will actually be looking at your store.

John Fidi. I have run my own ecommerce stores since 1996, and I still do. Go Live Design Co. is the part of that where I do the same work on somebody else’s store.

The Proof

Most consultants have no horse in the race.

I run CondomDepot.com — a WooCommerce store I have operated since 1996. About 26,000 organic visits a month, up from under 10,000 eighteen months ago. Check it yourself in Semrush, US Domain Overview.

John Fidi, Founder · Go Live Design Co.

It is a live store, not a case study. Real payment processing, real chargeback exposure, a restricted product category and zero paid traffic. Go Live, Inc. is the company behind it, which is also why this consultancy is called what it is.

I would rather you verify it than believe it. Ninety seconds in Semrush settles the whole question.

The long version

Thirty years of being the person who gets the 11pm call.

I started selling online in 1996, before most of the tooling that people now argue about existed. Since then the platform has changed four times, the payment landscape has changed more than that, and the work has stayed roughly the same: something is quietly costing you orders and nobody in the building has the time to go find it.

I am not describing that from the outside. When a gateway starts declining one card type, when an update takes the cart down on a Saturday night, when an ad platform stops approving an entire category with no appeal, that is my weekend and my money. It happened this year.

That is the whole reason this service exists in the shape it does. Three prices, published. No discovery call. No retainer. You send a URL, I tell you what I found, and you decide what happens next.

The part most agencies will not take

Restricted categories are a normal Tuesday here.

Supplements, sexual wellness, CBD, nutra. If your category is one that makes processors nervous and ad platforms twitchy, you already know how short the list of people who will work on it is.

High-risk processing, chargeback ratios that get watched, age gates, ad accounts that stop approving a whole product line without explanation, and the compliance work that sits underneath all of it. I deal with this on my own store, so it is not a special engagement and it is not priced differently.

What that means in practice

Gateway and processor posture, including backups
Chargeback exposure and what is driving it
Age gates that do not wreck conversion
Ad-platform category restrictions and what survives them
Organic as the channel that cannot be switched off

The last one is why the chart above matters more than it looks. That store grew on organic alone, in a category that cannot buy its way out of a problem.

How I work

Three things worth knowing before you hire me.

🎯

Skin in the game

Every problem I look for on your store is one that has cost me money on mine. That is not a sales line, it is the reason I recognise things quickly.

🤝

I work with your developer

I find, your team chooses, nobody loses a job. A good share of what I report is already on your dev’s list and has never been given the hours.
